A fun cozy mystery!
Sybil Potts moves to Little Tatterford, a small town in the middle of nowhere in Australia, seeking to find peace and quiet after the upheaval of her divorce.
Although the town is sleepy and nothing has ever happened, her arrival coincides with a murder in the property adjacent to her cottage. Sybil soon finds she is at odds with the attractive Blake Wessley, the exasperated police officer who is trying to solve the murder.
After Sibyl narrowly misses becoming the next victim, she turns her attention to the suspects. Is it the English gentleman, Mr. Buttons, who serves everyone tea and cucumber sandwiches, or her landlord, Cressida Upthorpe, who is convinced that her fat cat, Lord Farringdon, speaks to her? Or is it someone else entirely?

1) Live and Let Diet

murder mystery

by Ashley Magruder

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review... This book out of the Witch Cozy Mysteries series is about a murder mystery... Just like the last one that I read... But in totally different settings and Circumstanc settings and circumstances... But I liked this book very much I also enjoyed the humerus parts of the book because there was quite a few parts... the characters in the book was very funny at times when they started bickering between each other... But when I got cozy it was very very nice... The storyline was very good it follows along with the series...

A great story of a woman surviving a cheating ex husband, a move to a small country town and sleuthing around to find the murderer in this story. I enjoyed the well written plot, characters and many twists in the mystery.

A little ripper of a story

I have recently come across Morgana Best, and I have fallen in love with her style of writing. There always seems to be a cat (as well as a dog or bird at times), and her heroines are flawed yet lovable. In this story, Sybil is going through an acrimonious divorce, and moves to a small country town while she waits for the divorce to finalise and the settlement to occur. On the evening she arrives, a murder occurs, and she is drawn in against her will, as the murderer soon begins to target her. The outcome is both predictable yet surprising, with enough plot twists to ensure that you keep reading, even though the plot does follow the standard plans, and uses the common mystery devices.
This is an enjoyable read, and I will likely end up with every book from every one of Morgana Best's series in my Kindle.
