From handshake to obsession...

Emma Everly only ever dreamed of meeting a man like millionaire project developer James Shaw. She never imaged she would fall in love with him, a man so intense, so dominating he radiates power and control no matter where he goes. What begins as a sex-only arrangement for pleasure becomes a heated, hungry, all-consuming obsession. James claims the keys to her heart and her mind, opening them to the wilder side of sex and bondage. But her painful history with relationships gets in the way of accepting that he finds her beautiful and worthy of love.

James is devoted to caring for Emma's every need, but his past haunts him, too. Guarded and evasive, he avoids Emma's questions, unwilling to divulge his secrets. She knows the only way to truly earn James' trust and get him to open his heart is to show him just how committed she is. Despite her lingering fears and people determined to tear them apart, can she go all-in and give herself entirely to him, body and soul?

part 2

by Ashley Magruder

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review... This is part 2 to the novel and I quite enjoyed the second novel it had the same consistency as the as the first novel... The second part of the novel flowed right together with the first part so there wasn't any unknown questionable acts going on... The characters was still spectacular and they still flowed right together from the first novel... I enjoyed the second novel very much just like the first and I will recommend this novel to all my friends als I enjoyed the second novel very much just like the first and I will recommend this novel to all my friends also...

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I am becoming a fan of Whitley Cox. This book reminds me of a saying, "everything but the kitchen sink" that's just what this book reminds me of because she has so many twists and turns that it takes you on this emotional roller coaster ride. With James secrets being with held and Emma's insecurities this book will keep you up until you have the very last page. Awesome!

❤️Great Steamy Series! ❤️

by Nerdy Despina

The story of Emma and James continues, as they encounter the intricacies of nurturing a relationship. Secrets from James' past come out to confront them, sometimes right in the face, and there was a period of darkness besides the passing of his twin brother that they needed to confront together, in order to become closer to each other. Meanwhile, Emma is still dealing with unwanted advances at work, and much more. It looks like her ex has moved on, but not for the better, though. This was a great read, with much angst and sexy moments in between to balance the seriousness of their new couple reality.

Hated Saying Goodbye To These Characters

by rainbowtourist

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.for Sex, Heat and Hunger Pt 2

I voluntarily read an arc of this book provided via Booksprout for a fair and honest review. This book picks up right after St. Patrick’s Day when both Emma and James professed their love of one another. James is traveling to Seattle for business and Emma, although she will miss him, is looking forward to downtime. It was really helpful for me as I had already read Love, Passion and Power: Part 1 (The Dark and Damaged Hearts Series) so I was acquainted with Kendra and Justin. Although I did not read Part 2 Of Kendra and Justin’s story...Kendra came off kinda skanky in this book. If a reader doesn’t know her history they might not understand the couple. There were times I thought Emma emasculated James. And she always ran. How many times did she make James go after her...and he always did. I know she had self esteem issues but how many times/ways did James have to prove how much he loved her. And I also believe she was totally up for a foursome when Max and Alex showed up in Canada, which would have been hypocritical because of her history with Tom. James has made such a 180 from the character he was in Justin and Kendra’s books..i read their story a few months ago and it took me a bit to make the connection with that James and this James. Although, as I wrote earlier I didn’t read part 2 Of Justin and Kendra’s book. But having said all that, I ultimately became invested in these characters and don’t want to let them go.

Emma and James have been together a couple of months and are going on a nice vacation together. Emma has been working through some of her issues with James, but he still has not opened up about his past. He obviously has some issues with trust and tries to take it out on Emma, who will not put up with any of this type of stuff at all. This could be a deal breaker for their relationship. Will they be able to work through these issues and maybe find their happily ever after? Or will they end up going their separate ways?

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. After reading this book I had to go and follow Whitley on Amazon. This book was excellent and worth the time spent reading it. James and Emma's relationship starts as a physical relationship only but grows into so much more but Emma is scared of her feelings.
