Slow Build but Not Disappointing

This is a good read by a new author! Shoe does a great job of making sure that you're interested in the characters. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I do have to say that this is not my usual genre, but it still sucked me in.

Amazing Book!

I've got to be honest and say that I really enjoyed this book! What I loved most was that it kept you on edge and wanting to know more. Who are these characters? What is *really* going on here? The author gives little subtle hints throughout the book. Sometimes you don't even recognize them for what they are, at least not at the time, but they always keep you questioning. This book kept my interest until the very last word. I am really interested to see what happens to Evie, Joseph, Lou and the others as I've grown to really love their characters. I'm looking forward to see where the author takes this story and how she connects everything together. I highly recommend this book!

A fun read making me want to read the follow up also!

This book was sent to review by the author. Feeling honoured, I read it. For you, possible reader, here's my first ever review!
Not knowing what to expect, just some fantasy in it, I started reading and I found myself lost in the book. Started this morning and I couldn't put it away so ended it early evening already.
Don't think that my reading in one day is reason for not reading it. It's a great book, great starter of this series!
I am just a very fast reader and had nothing else to do today ;-)
So...well written, good story. I like a bit of fantasy and the book left me wanting to know how the characters will fare in the other part(s).
Íf any negatives can be said about the book it's this...as far as I'm concerned it could have been a bigger book. But, then again, I love books with at least about 400 pages and small letter in it.

Self-Discovery

by Jana L.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. A great book! The author hit all the right points with a hint of sci-fi and a lot of self-discovery. A very emotional book with a lot of "what is going to happen now." I'm looking forward to the next books we can see what happens next.
