He thought the fight was over until his heart was on the line.

I thought coming home would solve all my problems. I’ve never been more wrong.
After a decade in the military, I’m more at home in the desert than the mansion where I grew up.
I want to pretend that six months as a captive didn’t change me, but ever since I escaped, I haven’t slept.
Nightmares. Flashbacks.
Nothing makes sense anymore.
Until I see her.
She looks like an angel, standing in the moonlight in her white nightgown, but the second I touch her, I know she's all woman.
Sophie’s no angel, but she just might be my salvation. If I can convince her to let down her guard.
Secrets lurk in her green eyes. Secrets that threaten our fragile connection.
Secrets that could steal her from me.
Home was supposed to be safe, but now I’m in the fight of my life to save the woman I love, before I lose everything.

sexy and strong emotional connection

The Billionaire's Angel is a great installment in the Winters family series. This time it's Gage's turn to meet the love of his life. And he finds her in Sophie, the nurse hired to care for Aunt Amelia, the feisty, prank loving maternal figure in the Winters family. Sophie is a calming oasis come to bring Gage peace now that he's home from his time in the Army special forces, after having been captured and imprisoned for 6 months.

When Sophie and Gage come together, it's sexy and steamy, but more than that, they have an intense emotional connection. They're both scarred from their pasts and seeking someone to help them heal. Gage is a protective alpha with a heart of gold and Sophie is just the woman for him with her sweet, but resolute demeanor and calming touch. She's become family to the Winters clan, and Gage is trying to find his way back to the family so they couldn't be more perfect for each other.

But, when Sophie's past comes calling for her, will Gage be able to protect her? I love seeing Sophie learn to trust Gage, and seeing Gage's protective instincts firing on all cylinders as he sets out to protect Sophie from the monsters of her past. The Billionaire's Angel has it all - strong emotional connection, steamy chemistry, family drama, suspense and action, and an excellent cast of primary and secondary characters. Now I'm looking forward to Annalise's story, can't wait!

I am so very glad Ms. Layne continued the story about the Winters. It was like coming home reading about Aiden, Tate, Annalise and all the others as well getting to know Gage and Sophie. I hope that she continues the storyline of the Winters. Aiden needs a love story. I need to know who did it! Another 10 plus star book! I am a HUGE fan of this series.

Absolutely loved it - highly recommend

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I have read the entire Billionaire series by Ivy Layne and loved each book, but The Billionaire's Angel is my new favourite. I wondered about Gage for a long time and finally het gets his own story. This book has everything you could want in a mystery romance - intrigue, mystery, action. And very hot romance. Gage was taken with Sophie from the moment they met. Both having traumatic pasts they leaned on each other while the worst kind of danger was never far. If you love beautiful love stories filled with danger and suspense this is the book you need to get.

The title fit this book perfectly. Sophie and Gage fit perfectly and this book has everything included that makes it romantic and exciting.

The Billionaire’s Angel by Ivy Layne is beyond wonderful. It is book seven of the Scandals of the Bad Boy Billionaires series. This book covered many issues with both characters. Gage with his PTSD and survivors guilt and Sophie with domestic violence. This book did a wonderful job of handling these issues with grace and authenticity. Both characters were extremely believable and not over the top with making stupid decisions based on their pasts. This book contains romance, humor, sizzling chemistry and edge of your seat suspense. This book moved so fluidly through each chapter and situation. Beautifully written with great depth to the characters. This is a must read book. I did not put it down until I read the very last sentence. Thank you Ivy for another exciting story of the Winters family. This wasn't my favourite of all the Billionaire books, but I have been following this family since the very beginning so I feel that regardless of how I feel about the book I just want to know what happens to them all and I want all the happy endings. I love that this is a quick read that I can get done in an evening, a bit like watching the latest instalment of your favourite series.

Sweet and thrilling

by Nicca

I really enjoyed this instalment of the Winter's family story. Gape and Sophie are perfect for each other and it was so wonderful to see how they were helping each other through their traumas.

In each book the background of what happened to their parents gets a little bit more revealed and I cannot wait to find out who's behind it all.

Fabulous read as always... Sweet and thrilling at the same time.

Wow, truly beautifully written, PTSD is not an easy thing to talk about never mind write about, especially in regards to both Gage and Sophie's situations.
I loved the sweet simplicity of their love story. So worth the read

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

1st things first - I love this series. I love the Winters Family.
I am very curious about the sub-plot that intertwines in every story of the murders
of the parents. Who is sending the clues to each family member?
Why did it happen? For most books in the series the opening of the story pulls me in immediately.
Nothing better than a spark between two individuals to get things started. A hot initial introduction in the library.
Then - the beginning of this story continues with a lot of details to introduce the audience to Gage and Sophie.
Once the groundwork is laid in the first few chapters. The humor and suspense begin. I loved the ride. Reading about 2 weddings and 'seeing'
some of my favs from previous books. I do not think this book is a good stand alone read. But I love
the progress of the story. Love how the last sister/cousin is introduced in this book. Her story appears to be next and the
set-up apparent in this book will not be necessary in the next book. I cannot wait! Thank you, Ivy, for another entertaining story
with complete characters. I finished the book in one setting in a few hours. Very addictive.

This is the best book in the series. It is well written. I've enjoyed all of Ivy Layne's books. I couldn't put it down; read it in one day. I loved the relationship between Sophie and Gage. Enjoyed the humorous parts about Aunt Amelia.

I am looking forward to the rest the series...especially looking forward to Aiden's story!

So good!

by J. Williams

Gage and Sophie are two broken people who find love and solace in each other. There is some suspense here and some humor (Aunt Amelia is hilarious!)here but it's their lovely romance that really shines. This can be read by itself but is the seventh in the series and I recommend reading them all. We get to catch up with the rest of the family, including the long running mystery of what happened to the Winter parents all those years ago. I can't wait to read Annalise' s story next!

Overcoming the past and finding love

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

One of the things that I love about this series is the development of the characters.  Even though the books can be read as stand alones,  I recommend reading in order to get the full timeline and the development of the underlying mystery.  Gage and Sophie's story is one of two individuals with extremely damaged pasts who found each other.  They knew what they wanted and took it.  When Sophie's past came back to haunt her, they dealt with that together.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story and look forward to the next book in the series.

Best in the series!!!!!

*** ARC for honest review*** For those of you who have not had the pleasure of reading anything by Ivy Layne yet, this would be the book I would recommend you begin with. The two characters Sophie and Gage have both of their share of nightmares from life experiences that bonds them together in an incredible way. When the nightmares become live again for Sophie, Gage faces his own demons to help them both come out strong in the end.If you are looking for HEA and also just an incredible plot, this book is for you!

One of the Best Series!

by Anonymous

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Ms. Layne has a way of taking a story that we all love to read to escape every day life and make it something so realistic that you either can't put the book down or can't stop flipping the pages. My heart went out for the pain and agony that Sophie endured; however, I can imagine what Gage went through while being held captive from his stint in the Army. This series is absolutely one of my favorites because of the mystery revolving around the deaths of both sets of parents and you can't help but fall in love with this family. They may come from wealth but they don't throw it around unless they need to. I would definitely recommend this book and can't wait to purchase it for my own collection.
