I don't like the country, never have, never thought I would. Somehow my sister lured me out of my safe haven in New York City to her country ranch down in Texas for a week long vacation, and well, it's just not my cup of tea. It's small and isolated and hot, the WiFi is slow, and somehow dust settles in every nook and cranny.

But my misgivings faded when I laid eyes on the mouthwatering cowboy, Dillon Allistor, a tall dreamy American dream. They sure don't make them like him in the city! A REAL man. It's been way too long since I've been with one of those...

Now I'm not sure I WANT to go back... Maybe I could be a country girl after all...

A short story, about 6,300 words.
