Kitt O’Malley mental health advocate and author of Balancing Act: Writing Through Bipolar Disorder. A former therapist who left her career over twenty-five years ago due to her mental illness, she uses both her lived experience and her training to help others. Kitt has used both her lived experience and clinical background as a Provider Educator for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). She has a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from UC Berkeley, a master’s in psychology from New College of California, and has attended Fuller Theological Seminary.
