Ash writes stories that touch upon the often flawed aspects of its characters, creating worlds that are as fantastical as they are human and where things are usually always worse than they seem, all told with a mix of gritty realism and dark, off-the-wall humour.
He is currently writing a series of standalone novels highlighting everything from family life to retribution, addiction, writers block and unstable relationships, the first of which, PEST has been released.
Ash grew up in the London Borough of Richmond-Upon-Thames where he studied Graphic Design and read a lot. Writing has been the constant thread throughout his life and he began by penning short stories and lyrics for bands. He later moved on to writing screenplays before deciding to try his hand at the novel.
Ash takes inspiration from many writers, across genres, also from his love of music and film, the world around him and the absurd things human nature allows itself to indulge in.
He has worked in a number of industries, some fulfilling, some not so and spent eight years as a vocalist (he’s not a bad singer) with various bands on the London club scene. He loves cats, cricket and when the weather is fine (tricky in England) riding his motorbike. He lives with his wife in Oxfordshire.
