Alona is an international best-selling author of Contemporary Romance and New Adult novels. She recently celebrated her 20th birthday (for the 20th time) and lives with her husband, their four sons and three dogs in Israel.
Before setting her roots, Alona traveled the world. She lived in Australia for almost two years, in South Africa for four, in Thailand for two more and also three years in The United States - New York specifically - where her youngest son was born.
She first started writing a personal blog about her life, which led here to write a book about raising her twins, both diagnosed on the autistic spectrum. This led her to receive a prestigious personal column on the website Mako News. Then, the writing bug just wouldn’t go away.
The ideas keep floating in her head, the characters are built in short moments and the writing still burns inside her, until the last word of a new story is typed.
Anyone who knows her would tell you that she has boundary issues, a weird fixation with eating hamburgers at any time of the day and that she finds it hard to be serious for more than five straight minutes.
She enjoys the simple things like sleeping (when given the chance), reading (when given the chance) and jogging (while hoping that no one will ever give her the chance). She loves spending time with her family and friends, meeting up with her readers and spends way too much time talking to them on social media.
And there you have it. That's Alona Jarden, in a nutshell :)
