Rachel Dacus is a poet, novelist, and essayist. Her most recent book is a time travel novel, The Renaissance Club, the story of 17th century Italian sculptor Gianlorenzo Bernini meeting his superfan from another era. Praised as “enchanting, rich, and romantic … a poetic journey through the folds of time”, the story weaves together art, love, passion, ambition, and the glories of Renaissance Italy in a magical fabric. She lives in the San Francisco Area with her architect husband and Silky Terrier. When not writing. she raises funds for art, education, healthcare, and other good causes. She has traveled to Italy and India. Rachel loves setting her stories in exotic places. She plans to expand her journeys beyond countries that start with the letter “I”. The daughter of a painter who was also a rocket engineer, Rachel often writes about art. She is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writer’s Association and Authors 18.
