Alexa is the author of the WWII novel series "Rose of Anzio" and "Shanghai Story". Her other works include the WWII/1980s time-travel love story "Eternal Flame" (a tribute to John Hughes), as well as short stories in the fiction anthologies "Pearl Harbor and More: Stories of December 1942", "Christmas in Love", and the USA Today bestseller "The Darkest Hour: WWII Tales of Resistance".
Alexa grew up in New York City and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She has traveled to more than 150 cities, and she loves to explore new places and different cultures. When not at work, she lives a second life as a novelist writing larger-than-life love stories, 20th historical fiction, and coming-of-age stories. Her own favorite romantic tales are "Romeo and Juliet", "Gone with the Wind", "Anna Karenina", "Titanic", "Love in the Fallen City" (by Eileen Chang), "Say Anything," and "The Lake House". She also enjoys period historical fiction TV shows including "Downton Abbey" and "The Crown".
