Like so many before me, I had a dream of imposible vistas, fantastical horrors, and heroes worth rooting for.
But then life happened and I was expected to get a "real job." And so, that's just what I did.
For fourteen years, I taught AP literature and drama, read books, survived the bi-yearly lockdowns and unruly students, read more books, raised a family, and read even more books.
And then one day I said, but wait, what about those impossible worlds?
So, I read every book I could on storytelling and writing, obsessed about character design and word choice, rocked myself to sleep at night, and began writing.
Writing is more than a job, it's the thing I live for each day.
