Many fiction writers are slightly nuts, and I suspect I'm no exception. My imagination has always been almost disturbingly vivid. I managed to convince all my kindergarten friends I was the grandson of a shamaness—and I made up so many stories about Grandma’s magic feats and jungle tribe that I believed it as well.
I’ve been writing fiction ever since I learned my letters. My first attempt was a short story about a talking dog. After a brief flirtation with sci-fi and adventure, I discovered the world of fantasy and supernatural fiction, and there was no turning back.
I’ve lived in six countries and on three different continents. Although ruinous to my bank account, the seminomadic lifestyle has been hugely inspirational, and many of my adventures have spilled into my stories.
