Grace Ombry has lived in Bay City, Michigan since 1971. She grew up in a crumbling mansion as the youngest of several girls. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a journalism major and marketing minor, she went into marketing but never gave up her love for writing.

Her first novel, State of Love & Trust, is a love story about Pearl Jam Fans and is set in Detroit and Michigan's northern lower peninsula.

Her second, Smokin' & Cryin', is the story of Robin Chelsea, a teenage rock star who mysteriously disappears in the early Seventies.

She is the managing editor of Epoxyworks Magazine, which has been in continuous print since 1992.

Grace also raises honeybees, plays guitar, frequently attends rock concerts, and helps run a grief support group.
