Robyn Branick began her indie writing career in June of 2018. Robyn enjoys writing for fun and reads short stories and novellas in her spare time. Robyn is from New Jersey and worked as a waitress for many years. Robyn met a variety of characters during her time as a waitress, some are featured in her stories, but the plots are fiction. "Wendy's Song" may be the first published work, but Robyn has been writing short stories on her blog and in private for friends for years. Her preferred storytelling is not for children, although she has written and illustrated children's books under the pen name, Robbie Ellie.
Robyn is also an artist, she enjoys painting and drawing in her spare time. Robyn has a Fine Arts-Visual Arts degree from Ramapo College of NJ. Robyn has a Liberal Studies degree from William Paterson University with concentrations in English and American Studies. At WPU, Robyn used to make deals with the professors. She would write short stories instead of the required assignments on the syllabus. A couple of the professors encouraged Robyn to pursue her talents as an author. That is what encouraged Robyn to consider self publishing her work.
A year later, Robyn delved into a story and remembered what the professors told her about publishing her work, here we are today.
