Fantasy has always been a large part of my life. From the first moment my father read "The Hobbit" aloud to me as a child, I was completely hooked on the genre. Every book I've read since then, every video game I've played, and every film I've watched has only increased my love and fascination for the world of dragons, elves and other mystical beings. It should therefore come as no surprise that I would want to make my own small contribution to that vast world.
After fourteen years of tweaks, rewrites, and rejections from publishers, I decided to take matters into my own hands and self-publish "Dragon Guardian: Fire." While I know the indie path is a hard one, I wouldn't trade a moment of it. Difficult as being self-published might be, at least my work is now out in the world, and that makes it all worthwhile.
"Dragon Guardian: Fire" marks the beginning of my Primordyan Chronicles in which I will bring to life a world and characters that have been growing within my imagination for what has now been seventeen years. This series truly is my life's work, and I am very excited to share it with the world.
When I'm not toiling away on my writing, I can be found spending time with my supportive husband and our inquisitive daughter in Minnesota where we make our home with our very spoiled cat.
