Russ Colchamiro is the author of the rollicking space adventure, Crossline, the zany sci-fi/fantasy backpacking series Finders Keepers, Genius de Milo, and Astropalooza, is the editor of the sci-fi-themed mystery anthology Love, Murder & Mayhem, and is co-author of Murder in Montague Falls, a noir-inspired collection of novellas with writers-in-crime Sawney Hatton and Patrick Thomas.
Russ lives in New Jersey with his wife, two children, and crazy dog, Simon, who may in fact be an alien himself. Russ has also contributed to several other anthologies, including Tales of the Crimson Keep, Pangaea, Altered States of the Union, Camelot 13, TV Gods 2, They Keep Killing Glenn, Footprints in the Stars, the upcoming Badass Moms, and two volumes of the YA sci-fi series Brave New Girls, the stories to which he wrote with his now nine-year-old twins, known in the writing community as ‘his ninjas’.
Russ is now finalizing the first full-length novel in an ongoing series featuring his sci-fi private eye, Angela Hardwicke.
As a matter of full disclosure, readers should not be surprised if Russ spontaneously teleports in a blast of white light followed by screaming fluorescent color and the feeling of being sucked through a tornado. It’s just how he gets around—windier than the bus, for sure, but much quicker.
Russ is repped by The Zack Compnay.
