Amy Moore is a full-time chef, mother of two and an author who was born and raised in San Diego and still lives in the city today. Her love of cooking was inspired by watching her grandmother preparing amazing food when she was a child and she wanted to become a chef ever since.
That dream came true at the age of just 17 when Amy got her first job and she has never looked back since. Her main area of concern is the increasing weight problem that is facing modern day America and she is determined to help tackle it with her delicious diet cookbook.
In her free time Amy likes cycling with her children, going to food fayres and researching ideas for her next recipes.
She keeps fit by swimming and enjoys
socializing with friends and family at weekends.
