She was born in Cape Town, South Africa and grew up in France. She was raised by her father who was a stained-glass artist.
Even as a young adult, she always had a passion for literature. Some of her earliest memories involve writing, even at a very young age.
As a former middle school teacher, she traveled extensively through Africa and Europe learning about new cultures and their history. These early experiences help shape her world view and open my mind.
She started journaling during these trips around the globe and noticed how powerful this habit can become. She realized it’s full significance when she began to share it with her students.
When she’s not writing or journaling you can normally find her painting or hiking.
