Suanne’s short works have been featured in multiple magazines, literary journals, and anthologies. She has two published novels with a third on the way. A Different Kind of Fire explores the life of a nineteenth century bisexual artist living in West Texas while Hunting the Devil explores the heartbreak and healing of a biracial American physician caught up in the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Suanne is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association, the Historical Novel Society, the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, San Antonio Romance Authors, and Romance Writers of America. Besides stints as travel and medical photographers and a family practice physician, she served as an editor for a mainstream/romance publishing house and fiction editor for an on-line literary magazine.
