Published in The Huffington Post and Minnpost, Elise Leise writes stories about humans faced with new technological and moral dilemmas. She's currently on an iterative mission to write lots of short fiction reads to see which types of stories stick.
Before she turned to creative writing, she tried out a number of occupations: zipline instructor, environmental activist, English teacher, crypto-journalist, and assistant chef.
Now, she's a speculative fiction writer and traveller, and dreams of returning to Thailand to spend a couple years on her motorbike seeing new things and meeting new people. The first one's name was Mara. The next one's name was Kiki.
What will the third one be...? :)
