Following an MBA and a lengthy career in marketing and advertising, motherhood drew me to pursue my more artistic passions. In 2007, I was led to the empowering independent art school, the Toronto School of Art, where I earned a Diploma of Fine Art and learned how to make my own unique mark on this world.
Now I see myself as a storyteller. My goal is to create heart-centered work – using both words and pictures – that tells a purposeful, enriching story.
My debut children's book, Weeds in Nana's Garden, was written following the experience of caring for my mom with dementia. Since its publication in 2016, it has won several awards and has been released in 3 other languages in order to reach families around the world!
